KinetikIQ is a High Potential Startup backed by Enterprise Ireland, headquartered in Galway and innovating at the intersection of sports science, AI, and performance analytics.

Founded in 2021 by Emma Meehan — an Olympic weightlifter and former Cisco software engineer—KinetikIQ builds on years of hands-on development and deep domain expertise to redefine how human movement is measured and optimized.

KinetikIQ is redefining how exercise and athletic performance are measured. Sparked by founder Emma Meehan’s experience on the gym floor, the vision was clear: build a smarter, more accessible way to train with precision.

Emma Meehan

FOUNDER
First Class Honours graduate in Computer Science; Information Technology, qualified personal trainer and competitive Olympic weightlifter. Emma has accrued almost four years industry experience as a software engineer with Cisco working on highly-distributed microservices for Webex using DevOps methodology.
Emma is obsessed with human movement and is dedicated to enabling people around the world to maximise their movement and enjoyment of exercise, no matter the individual's goal.

Meet Sean McVeigh, the Chief Commercial Officer of KinetikiQ. With a rich background in sports science, strength and conditioning, and sports technology, Sean brings a wealth of experience from the sporting industry. He holds an MSc in High-Performance Sport: Strength and Conditioning from UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. Sean has a proven track record in leadership, sales, and sports performance. As a dedicated professional, he excels in driving innovation and delivering exceptional results.

With a successful track record as a business owner in sports and health technology, and data and audio communications, Nic has guided start-ups from inception to market success through strategic growth initiatives and high-impact partnerships. He achieves exceptional results in competitive commercial environments, he combines deep industry insight with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
